West Las Vegas Communities
West Las Vegas Communities are typically synonymous with quality and comfort. Many people who relocate to Las Vegas are familiar with Summerlin, the most well renown master-planned community in the valley. Clients frequently request properties in Summerlin when they begin their real estate search. Many other high-quality and high end homes surround Summerlin in communities designed for comfort and function. The west side of Las Vegas is a great place to live and call home.
Briefly, Summerlin is known for its great communities. Howard Hughes had a vision when he planned the overall master-plan. He worked with the city to engineer the infrastructure of several communities long before they were developed. Roadways, utilities, and other amenities were designed so that residents wouldn't feel the pinch as the neighborhoods were developed and grew. The different communities all fit like a well thought out puzzle. Restrictions keep the housing and other architecture somewhat uniform. Certain color pallets must be used for exterior paints and other improvements often need approval by an association. Residents reap the benefits of a clean, stylish community.
The west side of the Las Vegas valley boasts some of the best views. Panoramic vistas of the Strip to the east and Redrock and surrounding mountains are breathtaking from many homes. Building requirements by some of the associations preserve these views because they require building size restrictions. When the Redrock Casino was recently built the developers were instructed to keep it to a minimal number of stories an color it according to the association's approved pallets so the maximum number of great views of the valley could be preserved.
West Las Vegas has access to some of the best features of the valley. Redrock canyon is only a few miles away providing scenic tours, horseback riding opportunities, biking, hiking, climbing, etc. Redrock Station Casino is at the mouth of the canyon. Swimming pools, parks and walkways are found throughout. Shopping centers, restaurants, and business parks are strategically located as well. Major roadways traverse the area for enhanced access to the rest of the valley. The beltway 215 connects with the I-15 on the north and south ends of the valley. Summerlin Pkwy cuts through the city connecting with I-95 providing access right to the heart of town. Other arterial streets provide access to any part of the city.
Residents can choose homes of many styles to fit their tastes. Although there are restrictions on colors and exterior appearances, builders have maximized the options in housing structures and layouts. Some communities feature high-end housing while others offer affordable home options.
